The latest, state-of-the-art spiritual energy scanning goggle.  Currently undergoing prototype testing, it has not been mass-produced or used in actual battle.  Although its performance is near the same level as the 10 series, it is not suitable for extended operation due to lower battery capacity.

The X12B now being developed focuses on reducing power consumption and is expected to have longer operable hours.
 

Notes: Aki's scope.  The one Neil wears while piloting looks similar, but has a blue lens.  I think his might have been more like the inside parts of a Half Helmet, though.
