In comparison to Bandai's previous Final Fantasy figure assortments, their Spirits Within line seem quite well made.  Granted, they aren't the greatest 6" figures on the planet, but at least they can stand up to standard figures.

The line runs Aki, Gray, Sid, Hein, Ryan, Neil, as well as a 'living' specimen of the humanoid Phantoms.  Jane is notoriously absent (see Conspiracies).  So is Elliott, but I guess we weren't supposed to be expecting him.  They're pretty accurate and well painted... there was definitely some effort, which pleases me.

However, keeping in line with what seem to be Bandai traditions, half of the figures don't really move well at all.  Aki, Sid, and Hein embody this muchly.  The Deep Eyes figures can be posed pretty well, and the Phantom... well... the Phantom is pretty darn cool, so it doesn't have to move.  Though it can.

In addition, each figure comes packaged with a cell card.  The card is a paper-bordered translucent plastic cell of the character it's packaged with.

These figures used to be wherever figures were found.  Alas, Bandai shrugged them off and now they frequent wherever out of production figures can be found.
