I've noticed this one to be a hit for collectors, toy enthusiasts, and even people who just like little aircraft.

The playset doesn't open into a backdrop of any kind like MicroMachines have been known to do, but rather fulfills the task of a model.  The sides open to reveal the interior, the thingies move, the mini plastic cables attach at points, and you can even stick one of the itty-bitty people into the cockpit.

The playset does come with itty-bitty people.  Aki and Sid are obvious, as well as an armored Gray and an equally armored other fellow.  I presume you could collect enough of the blanks to create your own set of Deep Eyes, if you were so inclined.  And if you were really, really motivated, you might even paint them to match.
